A 33-year-old woman and her husband have been detained for allegedly killing her mother and attempting to pass it off as a natural death in Kyathasandra in Tumakuru district.
The deceased has been identified as Pushpavati, 55, a resident of Anupanahalli. The accused woman has been identified as Suchitra.
