Left-wing parties strongly condemned the ‘coordinated attack on Iran’ by the United States and Israel, and stated that these reflect the height of imperialistic arrogance.

Leaders from ten left parties, including CPI, CPI (M), CPI (ML), CPI ML (Liberation), CPI ML (New Democracy), Revolutionary Socialist Party, Socialist Unity Centre of India (Communist), Marxist Communist Party of India (United), Forward Bloc party, staged a protest in Vijayawada on Monday (March 02, 2026).

Attacks on Iranian people, killing the country’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and bombing schools are a blatant violation of all international agreements, they said, appealing to the public to join them in condemning these attacks.

They said that the objective of the attack on Iran is to capture natural resources, and governments which are trying to protect their countries and its people are being forcibly subdued.

The Left parties demanded that the Union government immediately issue a statement condemning the attack on Iran. They called upon people in the country to stand with Iran and in unison against American imperialism.
