Commuters in the eastern parts of the city have been advised to brace for moderate traffic congestion on May 3 as the Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders is scheduled at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium.

According to the Malkajgiri Traffic Police, traffic restrictions and diversions will be in force from 12 noon to midnight in view of the anticipated spectator rush to the stadium. Congestion is expected along key stretches from Nagole to Habsiguda via Uppal Junction, and from Boduppal to Amberpet via Uppal Junction and Ramanthapur. Motorists have been urged to avoid these routes and opt for alternative corridors.
