Minister Satish Jarkiholi inaugurated a wrestling competition in Kadoli of Belagavi district as part of the Mahashivaratri celebrations in the Sri Duradundeshwar Math.
He sought the blessings of Sri Gurubasavalinga Swami earlier. The Minister launched development works worth ₹1.1 crore in the village.
Another wrestling competition organised by the Chhatrapati Shivaji Sports Wrestling Association was inaugurated in Peeranwadi as part of Hazrat Shah Sadrodin Ansari alias Janglipir Urs observation.
The wrestling bouts will continue on Monday near the new gram panchayat office in Peeranwadi.
