The real estate sector has been witnessing a strong revival due to the construction-friendly measures being implemented by the coalition government, said Vijayawada MP Kesineni Sivanath (Chinni) on Friday (January 09, 2026) at the inaugural of the 11th CREDAI Property Show in Vijayawada.

Speaking on the occasion, the MP said that the coalition government was committed to restoring the past glory of the real estate sector by extending necessary support and incentives. He alleged that during the previous government’s tenure, attempts to change the Amaravati capital led to a severe setback for the real estate sector and accused former Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy of misleading the public with false statements. He urged people not to believe such misinformation and clarified that the capital was already located close to Vijayawada and Guntur.

He said that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s plan was to develop a mega city by integrating Mangalagiri, Vijayawada, and Guntur and exuded confidence that the coalition government would remain in power for the next 25 years and would focus on development of Amaravati, Visakhapatnam, and Rayalaseema, leading to stability and growth in the construction sector across all regions.

Mr. Sivanath said that easy availability of sand, an essential requirement for construction, would significantly boost real estate growth. The MP announced attractive offers being provided by CREDAI at the three-day event wherein visitors would be given coupons, and a daily lucky draw winner would receive an attractive prize worth ₹1 lakh. Additionally, he said those who book plots at the property show will get free registration, which he described as a bumper bonanza ahead of the festive season.

Vijayawada East MLA Gadde Ramamohan credited the Chief Minister for introducing multiple initiatives to strengthen the construction sector. He urged CREDAI to cooperate in generating more employment opportunities for building workers.

Penamaluru MLA Bode Prasad, CREDAI’s A.P. State general secretary Dasari Rambabu also spoke while Vijayawada CREDAI Chairman Ch. Satish Babu, president G.S.R. Mohan Rao, general secretary K. Raghuram, treasurer Satya Sai Ram, main sponsor of the event P. Kiran Naidu and several others participated in the event.
