The Government of Maharashtra on Friday (April 3, 2026) issued transfer orders for 25 Indian Administrative Service officers, reassigning District Collectors, Municipal Commissioners, and Chief Executive Officers of Zilla Parishads across the State, with changes taking effect in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Kolhapur, Nagpur, and Solapur.

In Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Municipal Commissioner G. Shrikant has been moved to Navi Mumbai, where he will serve as Chief Executive Officer of the Jal Jeevan Mission. Amol Yedage, who currently holds the post of District Collector in Kolhapur, will take charge as the new Municipal Commissioner of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

The district also sees a change in its Collector’s office. Dilip Swami, the incumbent District Collector of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, has been posted to the Maharashtra State Seeds Corporation in Akola. Vinay Gowda, at present the District Collector of Chandrapur, has been named as his successor.

In the Nagpur and Kolhapur divisions, Kumar Ashirwad, who serves as District Collector of Solapur, has been transferred to Nagpur to take over as District Collector there. Dr. Vijay Rathod has been posted as the District Collector of Kolhapur. The Kolhapur Municipal Corporation will now be headed by Dr. Rajendra Bharud, who has been appointed as its Commissioner.

Changes have also been made to the administration of the Sangli-Miraj-Kupwad Municipal Corporation. Smt. Sanjita Mohapatra has been appointed Commissioner of the corporation. The outgoing Commissioner, Satyam Gandhi, has been transferred to the post of Chief Executive Officer of the Amravati Zilla Parishad.

The government has also made a set of postings that place officers in the Zilla Parishad structure. Minu P.M. has been named CEO of the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Zilla Parishad, and Jasmin has been appointed CEO of the Kolhapur Zilla Parishad.

Varsha Thakur-Ghuge, currently posted as District Collector of Latur, has been transferred to Mumbai to serve as Joint Chief Executive Officer of the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation. Dr. Bharat Bastewad will take over from her as District Collector of Latur.

All officers who have received transfer orders have been directed to assume charge at their new postings.
