The Hyderabad Traffic Police have announced a series of diversions around Yousufguda, Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy Indoor Stadium, and Krishna Nagar on Friday (October 17, 2025) in view of nomination processions by candidates contesting the Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election.

A large number of supporters and vehicles are expected to gather near the KVBR Indoor Stadium between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., causing moderate traffic congestion in the area.

Commuters have been advised to avoid routes leading towards the stadium and use alternate roads.

As per the advisory, traffic from Maitrivanam towards Yousufguda basti, Rahamathnagar, Karmikanagar, and Borabanda will be diverted at Yousufguda basti towards Krishnakanth Park, GTS Temple, Kalyan Nagar, Mothi Nagar, and Borabanda bus stop. Those heading from Maitrivanam towards Jubilee Hills checkpost via Yousufguda and Madhapur will be diverted at Yousufguda basti towards RBI Quarters, Krishna Nagar, and Jubilee Hills checkpost.

Vehicles from Jubilee Hills checkpost and Venkatagiri going towards the stadium will be diverted at Krishna Nagar junction towards Srinagar Colony and Panjagutta. Traffic from Borabanda bus stop towards Yousufguda checkpost will be rerouted at Prime Garden Function Hall towards Midland Bakery, GTS Colony, Kalyan Nagar, and Vengalrao Nagar. Those coming from Panjagutta towards Krishna Nagar via Srinagar Colony will be diverted at Srinagar Colony Park towards MJ College Road, SNT Junction, and NFCL.

The traffic police have requested the public to cooperate and follow the diversions for smooth vehicular movement.

Public parking has been arranged at Metro Parking (Janakamma Thota 1 and 2) in Yousufguda, and at Savera and Mahamood function halls for four-wheelers.
