Youth held on charge of fatally stabbing grandfather

The Palode police arrested a 28-year-old man for allegedly stabbing to death his grandfather near Idinjar junction on Sunday evening. The accused has been identified as Sandeep. According to the police, he stabbed his grandfather Rajendran Kani (62) who demanded him to repay the money he had provided him on loan. A verbal altercation escalated quickly, following which Sandeep stabbed his grandfather who was fleeing from his attack.
