Over 20 Telugu candidates bag coveted Civil Services 2025 posts; Gudelli Srujana from Telangana’s Peddapalli bags 55th rank

Over 20 persons from the Telugu States made it to the list of candidates selected for the Civil Services. The results of the Union Public Service Commission’s Civil Services Examinations, 2025 were announced on Friday (March 6, 2026). 

Gudelli Srujana from Peddapalli in Telangana secured 55th rank. The other candidates from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh who bagged the coveted posts are Srigiriraju VPS Sai Krishna (125), Kolipaka Sree Krishna Sai (150), Banoth Laxmi Rachana (178), S Varshith Reddy (259), Velimineti Vikram Simha Reddy (541). 

“The number of successful aspirants seems to be less than the previous years . Many aspirants had focused on the State Service Examinations this year,” said V. Gopalakrishna from Brain Tree, about the number students from the Telugu states making it to the CSE 2025 list. 

Roughly around 90 aspirants from the Telugu speaking States had appeared for the interview held from December last year till February this year. Last year the number of candidates selected stood at 54.

Anuj Agnihotri bagged the first rank, Rajeshwari Suve M the second rank and Akansh Dhull the third. A total of 958 candidates were recommended for the appointment. The candidature of 348 candidates was kept provisional and results of two candidates were withheld, as per a press note.
