The outgoing Chief Minister M. K. Stalin on Monday (May 4, 2026) said the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), which had functioned efficiently as a ruling party, would now function as an effective Opposition.
In a social media message, the DMK president said he accepted the people’s verdict and congratulated the victors on their win.
