Amaravati will soon emerge as a global capital with iconic government complexes and world-class infrastructure, said Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) Commissioner K. Kanna Babu.

Unveiling miniature models of government complexes coming up in the capital at the 11th Amaravati Property Festival in Vijayawada on Thursday, Mr. Kanna Babu said Amaravati will be the administrative capital of Andhra Pradesh and will set new benchmarks in urban design, sustainability and liveability.

The three-day Amaravati Property Festival of the National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO) Central Zone is being organised under the aegis of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.

The models showcased at the event included the Legislative Assembly, High Court, a 50-storey Secretariat, HoD Towers, GAD Complex, integrated metro lines and other landmark projects. The Commissioner said these structures are designed to embody transparency, efficiency and innovation.

The CRDA Commissioner further noted that Amaravati’s master plan integrates green spaces, public transport corridors, and digital infrastructure, ensuring that the city grows as a hub of both governance and sustainable development. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to building the capital step by step, with people’s participation at the core.

NAREDCO A.P. president Gadde Chakradhar said the property festival reflects the growing trust in Amaravati’s future and offers investors a strong platform, while NAREDCO Central Zone president Sandeep Mandava noted that the response from developers and buyers highlights Amaravati’s potential as a real estate hub.

SLV group chairman Penmatcha Srinivasa Raju, NAREDCO Central Zone Secretary S.V. Ramana and Treasurer P.V. Krishna were present at the festival.
