Kozhikode: Chuttu, the magazine of Farook College, has bagged the Beacon Award instituted by Beacon Calicut, a cultural organisation. While the magazine won the first prize, its editor, Aslam E.T., was adjudged Best Editor. The award carries a cash prize of ₹10,000 and a citation. Magazines from other educational institutions also won prizes. The awards will be presented at a function to be held at Kozhikode Town Hall on March 5 at 5 p.m.
