Bailable warrant issued against Information Commissioner Samuel Jonathan

The High Court recently issued a bailable arrest warrant in the name of Information Commissioner P. Samuel Jonathan in a contempt case. Justice Satti Subba Reddy directed the Guntur Superintendent of Police to arrest Mr. Jonathan in a writ petition filed by Mogal Noorulla, president of a non-governmental organisation based at Kadiri in Sri Satya Sai district. The judge told the SP to arrest Mr. Jonathan for disobeying the orders in writ petition number 6466/2025 and to produce him before the court on December 19.
