₹1.55 crore sanctioned to families of 31 deceased Gulf migrant workers in Jagtial district

The State government has sanctioned ₹1.55 crore as ex-gratia to the families of 31 Gulf migrant workers from Jagtial district, who died while working in Gulf countries, said NRI Advisory Committee vice-chairman Mandha Bheem Reddy.

In a statement, he said as many as 50 families in the district have already received Gulf ex-gratia amount of ₹5 lakh each, amounting to ₹2.5 crore, until March 31 this year.

A total of 165 families of Gulf deceased workers across the State have benefitted so far.
