Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday (December 30, 2025) termed 2026 a decisive year for Uttar Pradesh’s technological advancement, saying the State is emerging as a global hub for artificial intelligence and the digital economy.

Mr. Adityanath urged youths to take a special resolution for the year 2026 and educate five children around them about computers and Artificial Intelligence (AI), set aside at least one hour each week to share knowledge. “My respected citizens of the State, it’s time to enter the year 2026. The year 2025 will be remembered for setting new standards for innovation in technology, AI, and data. Uttar Pradesh is setting new standards for future-oriented development. The State’s good governance has strengthened “Brand U.P.” worldwide. Uttar Pradesh has now become a State of investor confidence. I’d like my young friends to make a special resolution for the year 2026. Educate five children around you about computers and AI. Set aside at least one hour each week to share knowledge,” wrote Mr. Adityanath, on X.

In a detailed message in Hindi on X, the U.P. CM added investment can thrive only when the State and society are secure. He said strong governance has strengthened “Brand U.P.” globally and transformed the State into a trusted destination of investors. The Chief Minister said preparations are underway to develop AI cities in Lucknow and Noida, while a semiconductor unit worth ₹3,700 crore is being set up in Jewar.
