TVK chief Vijay forms 12-member panel to draft manifesto for T.N. Assembly poll

Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam chief Vijay. File

Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) president Vijay on Friday (January 9, 2026) constituted a 12-member committee to prepare the party’s election manifesto for the upcoming Assembly election in Tamil Nadu.

In a statement, Mr. Vijay said K.G. Arunraaj, the party’s general secretary (policy and propaganda), J.C.D. Prabhakar, former AIADMK MLA who joined the TVK recently, A. Rajmohan, the party’s deputy general secretary, T.S.K. Mayuri, A. Sampathkumar, M. Arul Prakasam, Vijay R. Bharanibalaji, J. Mohammed Farvace, T.K. Prabhu, Christy Prithivi, Thenmozhi Prasanna, and M. Sathiyakumar would be the members of the committee.

He said the committee would tour Tamil Nadu to elicit opinions and views from the general public while drafting the manifesto. Mr. Vijay also said it would reflect the aspirations of various sections of society in taking Tamil Nadu forward.
