Shivamogga Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS) has sought an increase of 50 seats each in its post-graduate and under-graduate courses.

On May 5, SIMS Director Dr. V. Virupakshappa told mediapersons, “The institute currently offers 102 post-graduate seats across 22 departments while the under-graduate intake is 150. We have applied to the National Medical Commission for an increase in seats. The institute has sufficient staff and infrastructure to meet the requirements for the enhanced intake.”
