Rain lashed parts of the city including – Ameerpet, Begumpet and Nizampet – while people in some other parts of Hyderabad heard loud thunder on Friday night. The India Meteorological Department – Hyderabad Centre – in its bulletin issued in the afternoon had forecast light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds in the city towards evening or night over the next 48 hours.
