Railways to operate unreserved Special Train services to clear Dasara rush

In view of the anticipated heavy rush of passengers during the ensuing Dasara festival at Mysuru, South Western Railway has decided to run multiple Unreserved Special Train services.

Train No. 06283 will depart from SMVT Bengaluru at 4.30 a.m. during its operation from September 27 to October 2, and reach Mysuru at 7.50 a.m. the same day.

Enroute, it will have stoppages at Bengaluru Cantonment, KSR Bengaluru, Kengeri, Bidadi, Bengaluru South (Ramanagara), Channapatna, Maddur, Mandya, Pandavapura and Srirangapatna.

Train No. 06284 will depart from Mysuru at 8 a.m. on the days of its special run from September 27 to October 2, and reach Bengaluru at 10.50 a.m. the same day and will have the same stoppages as its corresponding service.

Train No. 06285 will depart from KSR Bengaluru at 11 a.m. daily between September 27 to October 2, and reach Ashokapuram at 2.15 p.m. the same day. In the return direction, Train No. 06286 will depart from Ashokapuram at 4 p.m. and and reach KSR Bengaluru at 7.20 p.m. the same day.

Both the trains will have stoppages at Kengeri, Bidadi, Bengaluru South (Ramanagara), Channapatna, Maddur, Mandya, Pandavapura, Srirangapatna, Mysuru and Chamarajapuram.

Train No. 06287/06288 KSR Bengaluru–Mysuru–SMVT Bengaluru Unreserved MEMU Special will make six special trips from September 27 to October 2. Train No. 06287 will depart from KSR Bengaluru at 7.45 a.m. and reach Mysuru at 10.40 p.m. the same day. Its corresponding service Train No. 06288 will depart from Mysuru at 10.55 p.m. to reach SMVT Bengaluru at 3.30 a.m. the next day and both the trains will have stoppages at Naganahalli, Srirangapatna, Pandavapura, Chandragirikoppal Halt, Byadrahalli, Mandya, Maddur, Channapatna, Bengaluru South (Ramanagara), Bidadi, Kengeri, KSR Bengaluru, and Bengaluru Cantonment.

On the Mysuru-Arsikere section, Train No. 06295 will depart from Arsikere junction 2.30 p.m. and reach Mysuru at 6.40 p.m. the same day and in the return direction Train No. 06296 will depart from Mysuru at 6.50 p.m. and reach Arsikere Junction at 11.45 p.m. the same day.

Both the trains will have stoppages at Habanghatta, Bageshapura, Hassan, Mavinkere, Holenarsipur, Annechakanahalli Halt, Sravanur Halt, Mandagere, Birahalli Halt, Akkihebbalu, Hosa Agrahara, Arjunahalli Halt, Hampapura, Krishnarajanagar, Dornahalli, Sagarakatte, Kallur Yedahalli Halt, Krishnarajasagara, and Belagula.

The railway authorities will run seven services between Mysuru and Chamarajanagar from September 27 to October 3 and Train No. 06289 will depart from Mysuru at 12.10 a.m. from and reach Chamarajanagar at 2 a.m. the same day. In the return direction, Train No. 06290 will depart from Chamarajanagar at 2.30 a.m. and reach Mysuru at 4.15 a.m. the same day.

On October 2, there will be a single trip to clear the rush and Train No.06293 will depart from Mysuru at 9.30 p.m. on October 2 and reach Chamarajanagar at 11.20 p.m. the same day.
