G. Pullaiah College of Engineering and Technology, Kurnool, in collaboration with Ratan Tata Innovation Hub (RTIH) on Tuesday (February 17, 2026) launched a five-day Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Programme (ESDP). The programme aims to empower aspiring entrepreneurs and students with essential skills and knowledge.

On the occasion, RTIN CEO Dr. R. Hafeez Basha emphasised that entrepreneurship is about bringing change to society. “With enthusiasm, creativity, and perseverance, anyone can become an entrepreneur. Identify market needs and take steps in that direction,” he said, adding that the programme aims to transform job seekers into job creators.

Sharing his experience as a local entrepreneur, S. Khaja Malik, MD of Global Group, said that establishing a local business is not easy, but with the right direction, skills, and understanding of the market, success is achievable.

Principal Dr. C. Srinivasa Rao encouraged students to utilise the programme to shape their future as entrepreneurs. Vice principal Dr. M. Giridhar Kumar also participated in the event. The programme covers topics such as entrepreneurship, finance and regulations, market analysis, digital branding, MSMEs and start-ups, and business strategies.
