An infant was received in the Kerala State Council for Child Welfare’s Ammathottil electronic cradle on Tuesday morning.
The infant, a five-day-old girl and weighing 2.39 kg, was immediately shifted to the council’s adoption centre by the staff. She was then taken to Women and Children’s Hospital, Thycaud, for preliminary examination and declared healthy. She has been named November, council general secretary G.L. Arun Gopi said in a statement.
Since her adoption procedures have to be initiated, anyone claiming her as their own should contact the council.
