The final selection lists of DSC-2025 will be released on September 15, 2025 (Monday). In a statement released on Sunday, convenor of DSC-2025 M. Venkata Krishna Reddy said the final selection lists would be available at the offices of the District Education Officer, the District Collector and on the official DSC website at https://apdsc.apcfss.in/.
The Mega DSC–2025 notification was issued on April 20 to fill a total of 16,347 teacher vacancies across various departments. These include vacancies in government schools under the General Education, Panchayati Raj and Municipal departments, and in Tribal Welfare, Social Welfare, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Backward Classes Welfare departments, Model Schools, Residential Schools, Schools for children with special needs and Juvenile Welfare Schools.
Applications were accepted online from April 20 to May 15, and a total of 3,36,300 candidates submitted 5,77,675 applications. The Computer-Based Test (CBT) was conducted from June 6 to July 2.
The preliminary key was released on July 5 and objections were accepted until July 12. After thorough analysis by expert panels, the final key was published on August 1. Candidates were given an opportunity to review and correct TET-related objections and scores from August 17 to August 21.
Mr. Reddy said that due to the large number of exams and candidates, normalisation methods recommended internationally were used to ensure fairness for candidates who appeared in multiple shifts.
He said that the merit lists for all managements and categories were prepared by assigning 20% weightage to the TET score and 80% weightage to the DSC score.
Subsequently, certificate verification teams consisting of 50 candidates per team were set up district-wise. Verification was conducted in seven rounds from August 28 to September 13. For candidates in categories such as Blind, Hearing Impaired, Orthopaedic and MR, support from medical department officials was utilised during verification.
