Film producer Bandla Ganesh met Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at the latter’s chamber in the Assembly on Thursday after completing a 535-km padayatra to Tirumala as part of a personal vow.
Mr. Ganesh had vowed to undertake the padayatra if Mr. Naidu, who was arrested in 2023 , returned as the Chief Minister.
Under the title ‘Sankalpa Yatra’, Mr. Bandla Ganesh began his padayatra from his residence in Shadnagar on January 19 and reached Tirumala on February 10, completing the journey over 23 days.
Two days ago, he offered prayers at the Lord Venkateswara Temple in Tirumala and fulfilled his vow. On Thursday, he met the Chief Minister and presented him Tirumala.
Mr. Ganesh shared details of his padayatra with the Chief Minister, stating that party workers supported him throughout the journey.
