The Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and Mysore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will conduct B2B meetings in the city on October 14 and 15 to promote trade and businesses.

The meetings will be held at Raddison Blu and the theme is ‘Expand Your Business in International Markets through UAE’.

A release said the initiative will highlight the strategic advantages of the United Arab Emirates as a gateway for Indian companies to tap global opportunities. Special focus will be on the Sharjah Airport International Free Zone, which the MCCI said, was known as one of the most dynamic and investor-friendly free zones in the region.

The MCCI said that the meetings to be held in Mysuru, will provide local businesses with direct interaction with SAIF Zone representatives to explore investment prospects, operational support, and the ease of setting up business in the UAE.

The participants will also gain insights on leveraging the India-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, which grants duty-free access to nearly 97 % of Indian goods and strengthens India’s reach into Africa, Europe, and other international markets.

A.K. Shivaji Rao, secretary, MCCI, said participation is free but prior registration was compulsory owing to limited slots. For registration and meeting confirmation, call 91-7676888/111.
