Fee for regularising land used for tourism purposes will be reduced to 5% of the fair price.
The decision was taken by the Cabinet on Wednesday. For this, the Kerala Government Land Assignment (Regularisation of the Contraventions) Rules, 2025 that had been approved by the Cabinet in a meeting on August 27 will be amended.
The earlier fee was 10%. The change follows a recommendation of the Assembly subject committee.
