According to Legislative Council Chairman Basavaraj Horatti, the Ethics Committee headed by Deputy Chairman M.K. Pranesh had met twice in May, 2025. “I cannot hasten the process though I have asked the committee to submit the report at the earliest. We can take action after receiving the report.”

Mr. Ravi’s alleged remarks in the House during the last Winter Session here had triggered a political storm, and questions were raised about the members respecting the honour and dignity of women.
