Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw informed a delegation of BJP MLAs from Telangana, led by Legislature Party leader A. Maheshwar Reddy, that the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the proposed new railway line between Adilabad-Armur railway had been completed and that the project would shortly be taken up for approval process.
The Union Minister also highlighted plans to develop Hyderabad as a major high-speed rail hub. The proposed project is being planned in a manner that ensures the hub is located within the city limits to maximise public convenience and benefits. MPs Eatala Rajender, M. Raghunandan Rao and others were present, according to a press release.
