There was some confusion at a multiplex cinema in Belagavi after the screening of the film Kantara Chapter 1 was delayed by over an hour on Sunday.

Film-goers complained that the 3.30 p.m. show did not start even till 4.45 p.m. at the Nucleus Mall here.

They got impatient and demanded a refund of their ticket money. They besieged the collection office and started shouting at the manager.

Tension did not subside even after the manager announced that their money will be refunded.

The police had to rush to the spot to control the crowd. However, after some time, the crowd dispersed as the cinema refunded their money.
