Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy praised the Hyderabad Disaster Management and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) for rescuing nine workers and engineers after their boat malfunctioned in the middle of the Mir Alam lake.

In a post on X on Tuesday (January 27), the Chief Minister described HYDRAA’s efforts in protecting Hyderabad’s assets as commendable, noting that the agency has been instrumental in securing government properties worth thousands of crores of rupees. “The organisation has also been actively implementing the government’s vision of restoring and protecting lakes, which he termed essential for the city’s environmental balance and aesthetic appeal,” he added.
