Andhra Pradesh Mahila Commission chairperson Rayapati Sailaja distributed artificial limbs, donated by the Sudeekshan Foundation, to beneficiaries at a programme here on Saturday (May 9, 2026).

Limbs and callipers were distributed to 90 beneficiaries, Ms. Sailaja said. She thanked the donors for helping accident survivors.

Sudeekshan Foundation founder Chigurupati Vimala said the foundation had been sponsoring limbs and callipers through donors for the past 19 years.

“We help 200 beneficiaries every year by organising donation camps for six months,” Ms. Vimala said.

The beneficiaries thanked the foundation and the Mahila Commission for the gesture.
