The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Mysuru Zone, has organised the Annual Finance Conclave 2025, to be held in Mysuru on December 3. The conclave, themed ‘Navigating the Future of Finance: Innovation, Integrity and Intelligent Transformation’, will focus on how finance leaders can steer growth, manage risk, and leverage technology in a period of regulatory change and global uncertainty.

More than 100 delegates, including chief financial officers, finance and tax heads, Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) promoters, consultants, bankers, human resources leaders, and technology professionals from Mysuru and neighbouring regions, are expected to participate in the day-long programme.

In a joint statement, Nagaraja Gargeshwari, Chairman, CII, Mysuru Zone, and S. Ranganathan, convenor, CII Mysuru Finance and Taxation Panel, said that the conclave aims to help businesses move from a purely compliance-driven approach to strategic financial leadership. They noted that finance functions must simultaneously respond to GST 2.0, rapid digitalisation, and the new labour codes. They added that aligning financial strategy, governance, and people practices with these reforms will be critical for MSME competitiveness and sustainable growth.

The programme will begin with an inaugural session led by Rabindra Srikantan, Chairman, CII Karnataka State Council, along with Sam Cherian, convenor, CII Karnataka MSME Panel, Mr. Gargeshwari, Mr. Ranganathan, and Santhosh S. Nair, co-convenor, CII Mysuru Finance and Taxation Panel. This will be followed by a policy keynote on ‘GST 2.0 – Boosting Growth and Reducing Costs’ by K.R. Sekar, Partner, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP.

P.V.N. Suresh Babu, Principal Commissioner, Goods & Services Tax (GST) & Customs Commissionerate, Mysuru, who is the chief guest, will deliver the inaugural address.

Over the course of the day, the conclave will feature focused sessions on global economic trends and export opportunities, GST 2.0 and its implications for India’s economy, AI technologies in business, finance, and customs, foreign trade policy and investigations, along with a dedicated session on cyber threats, data protection and building secure financial ecosystems. A special highlight will be the discussion on the impact of the four new labour codes on wages, social security, industrial relations, and workplace practices. The sessions are expected to offer practical, cross-functional insights on policy, technology, risk, compliance, and well-being for today’s finance leaders, stated CII in a press release.
