Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed the officials to focus more on increasing the satisfaction levels in the delivery of public services and simplify the administrative rules. He also called upon the public representatives and officials to be answerable to the people.

“All the government services will be made available online by January 15,” the chief Minister said while addressing a meeting of Ministers, Secretaries and Heads of Departments at the Secretariat on Wednesday.

He asked the departments that were lagging behind to gear up to meet the January 15 deadline.

Mr. Naidu said the officials should ensure efficient use of advanced technologies for public service delivery.

He ordered that the officials should monitor the delivery of public services up to the last mile and stressed the need for strengthening the Village and Ward Secretariats.

The government was able to re-establish the brand image of Andhra Pradesh and attract huge investments, which was evident from the grand success of the CII Partnership Summit – 2025, he said.

The Chief Minister said that the NDA government was not going to increase power tariffs this year, adding that efforts were being made to reduce the power purchase price from ₹4.92 per unit to ₹4 per unit.

He pointed out that the government achieved 12.02% growth rate in the first quarter of FY 2025 – 26 and 11.28% in the second quarter. A growth rate of 17.11% was targeted to be achieved in the third quarter of the fiscal year.

The government is giving a top priority to utilising the water resources, which enabled it to store 944 tmc ft of water in various projects.

Mr. Naidu said the government was committed to the development of all the regions, for which three economic zones— Visakhapatnam zone comprising north Andhra and East Godavari districts, Amaravati zone with West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur and Prakasam districts, and Tirupati zone with Nellore and Kurnool districts—have been proposed.

Mr. Naidu told the officials to prioritise grievance redressal by having proper interactions with the petitioners.

He asserted that the government was successful in improving the performance of several departments, however, some of them, especially, Endowments and Revenue Departments, were found wanting in serving the people.

The performance of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has improved and the best practices followed by it should be replicated in all temples. The functioning of each official would be watched real-time to achieve the best outcomes, Mr. Naidu said, adding that focus should be laid on data driven governance.
