The standing committee of GHMC has cleared a proposal for changing the name to Telangana Talli flyover.

The standing committee of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has cleared a proposal for naming the Telugu Talli flyover as the Telangana Talli flyover during its meeting on Wednesday (September 24, 2025).
The proposal, not part of the agenda items, will now be placed before the General Body for approval. One more proposal cleared by the committee is to open salary accounts of GHMC outsourcing workers and sanitation workers with private bank, with an agreement for providing accident insurance and term life insurance benefits too.
Instructions will be issued to the outsourced / sanitation workers mandating them to open savings bank account with the chosen bank. The committee cleared a total 24 proposals, including those pertaining to storm water drains, CC roads, property acquisition, extension of streetlight maintenance, and various other infrastructural works.
