The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Vijayawada Range, took Assistant Commissioner (Endowments) Kalingiri Santhi into two days’ police custody on Wednesday after a court order, and moved her from Vijayawada Jail for questioning.
Santhi was arrested on April 7, 2026, after ACB teams raided her properties at multiple locations in Tadepalli, Guntur district, and in Visakhapatnam. During the searches, officials found a two-storeyed building in Tadepalli, a residential flat in Visakhapatnam, 770 grams of gold ornaments, silver jewellery weighing three kilograms, a four-wheeler, and other valuables, the ACB said.
