Bam Rukn-ud-Dowla Lake restored by Hyderabad Disaster Response & Asset Protection Agency’s (HYDRAA) would be inaugurated by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Friday (March 6, 2026)

Two more restored lakes in Hyderabad are set to be reopened to the public under Hyderabad Disaster Response & Asset Protection Agency’s (HYDRAA) lake rejuvenation initiative. The historic Bam Rukn-ud-Daula Lake in Shivarampally and Nalla Cheruvu in Kukatpally are ready for inauguration.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is scheduled to open Bam Rukn-ud-Daula Lake on Friday (March 6, 2026), a statement from HYDRAA said, which will be followed by Nalla Cheruvu a couple of days later.
