A sub-inspector at the Kozhikode Town police station sustained minor stab injuries while trying to control a ruckus at a hotel in the city on Saturday (February 14).
The injured officer, Shafi, was admitted to a private hospital following the incident. A man, identified as Pramod, was arrested in connection with the incident.
Sources said the officer was attacked while he was trying to control Pramod, who allegedly locked horns with a customer at the hotel.
