As many as 406 police cadets have joined the State police force after completing their training at the Malabar Special Police (MSP) camp here. State Police Chief Ravada A. Chandrasekhar took the salute at the passing-out parade held at MSP grounds here on Friday (November 14). Those who took part in the parade were 319 police constables of the MSP battalion, nine senior civil police officers, one havildar, and 77 recruit training personnel of the Kerala Armed Police battalion-I.
Additional Director General of Police S. Sreejith, Deputy Inspector General Arul R.B. Krishna, District Collector V.R. Vinod, District Police Chief R. Viswanath, and MSP Commandant K. Salim took part in the function.
MSP Assistant Commandant K.V. Rajesh administered a pledge. T.A. Alex from Alappuzha led the parade. Mr. Chandrasekhar presented awards to those who excelled during the training.
