Expressing confidence that Telangana will achieve its mission of becoming a $3 trillion economy by 2047, Governor Jishnu Dev Varma has said that the State’s expanding infrastructure — airports, renewable energy, transport networks and smart zoning — is shaping the modern State aimed at reaching the goal

Declaring open Telangana Rising Global Summit-2025 being held at Bharat Future City, in eastern Hyderabad periphery, on Monday (December 8, 2025) afternoon, the Governor spoke about the  State’s focus on inclusive growth, skilling youth, policies and key factors which are needed for strategic planning.

“Viksit Bharat by 2047 and Telangana Rising represent clear and purposeful national and State goals. Today marks a moment when a strong vision begins to translate into steady and measurable action. Setting targets, planning strategically and executing with discipline requires clarity and a forward looking mindset. As Bharat moves with determination towards $30 trillion economy by 2047, Telangana too is progressing with confidence to become $3 trillion economy by 2047,”said Mr. Varma.

The agenda of empowering women is progressing with initiatives such as Electric buses operated by Self Help Groups, retail enterprises and solo projects, making them active contributors to the economy. To prepare youth for the present and future opportunities, the State is focusing on skilling and sports.

“The government of Telangana is also focused on building a skilled workforce through vocational and technology based training aligned with current and future industrial requirements,”he said. The Governor also spoke on how transparency, accountability,  and active engagement is strengthening trust between people and Government.
