A 28-year-old woman was killed and four others were injured in a collision involving two cars on the Bandiyod Muttam stretch of the national highway in Kasaragod, Kerala, around 8 p.m. on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as C.P Fathimath Mirzana, a resident Machampady, Manjeswaram.
The injured were rushed to a private hospital in Mangaluru. One of the injured remains in critical condition.
Both vehicles were heading towards Mangaluru when the collision occurred. The smaller car was mangled in the impact, while the other overturned on the roadside.
