Walkathon held to promote health, community engagement in Tirupati

Hospitality company Ekante Bliss – Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) organised ‘Bharat EkSaath’ walkathon in Tirupati on Sunday. The inclusive 3-km wellness walk was held to bring together company’s associates, their families, local partners, vendors and communities across 14 countries in over 200 locations to advance its sustainability and social impact agenda through ‘Paathya’, its ESG+ framework.

The walk commenced from the hotel, proceeded up to Lakshmipuram Circle via Air bypass road, and returned to the hotel, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to promoting health, wellness, and community engagement.

The funds raised through the walkathon support Taj Public Service Welfare Trust (TPSWT), reinforcing IHCL’s approach to social impact, the company said in a press release.
