Two member Coal Ministry officials to probe Naini coal block tender cancellation

Union Coal and Mines Minister G. Kishan Reddy has announced that a two-member team, including Coal Ministry’s Deputy Director General Chetna Shukla and Director (Technical) Marapalli Venkateshwarlu, will visit Singareni Collieries to probe into the reasons behind the Naini coal block tender controversy, cancellation of the tender, and other related aspects, as per a press release issued on Thursday (January 22, 2026).
