Two youths were killed when their motorcycle collided with the pillar of a skywalk in Mandya on Friday.
The victims were identified as Daniel and Alex of Udayagiri in Mandya. The police suspect it to be a case of rash driving and the accident occurred near the Government Women’s College.
Sources said the impact of the collision was such that the two died on the spot. The bodies were shifted to the government hospital for post-mortem and subsequently handed over to the family members. Superintendent of Police Mallikarjun Baladandi visited the spot. The Mandya East police have registered a case and are investigating.
