The police arrested two people who were in possession of MDMA from a hotel in Thavakkara on Tuesday (December 2, 2025). The Kannur Town Police made the arrests during an inspection conducted on the basis of a confidential tip off.
The arrested have been identified as Arif C.H., 41, and Aparna, 25. The police recovered 2.94 g of MDMA from them.
The operation was carried out as per the instructions of Kannur Town Police Station inspector P.A. Vinu Mohan.
The police have launched a detailed investigation into the incident, including the duo’s possible links to other individuals and the drug supply network.
