A toddler died after being hit by a school bus at Gopala Extension in Shivamogga, in Karnataka, on March 31.

The victim Aryan is 18 months old. He is the son of Manjunath. He met with the accident seconds after his brother, Arush, a pre-school student, got down from the school bus.

The domestic help had stepped out of the house to pick up Arush. Unknown to her, Aryan had followed her outside the house and got on the road. Aryan was hit when the bus moved. The driver had failed to notice the baby.

The driver took the baby to a private hospital, where the doctors declared him dead.

Shivamogga Traffic police have booked a case.
