Two individuals were arrested, and 310 grams of ganja was seized by the State Task Force of the Telangana Excise and Prohibition Department following a raid on a gymnasium in Madhavanagar Colony, Hafeezpet, on Tuesday.

Following a tip-off that ganja was being sold on the premises, the officials apprehended the gym owner, identified as Birdar Sunil, and recovered the contraband.

According to police, Sunil admitted during questioning that he was selling ganja to customers who approached him at the gym. Based on information gathered from him, police identified Poturu Ajay as the supplier of the drug and subsequently arrested him as well.

Officials said that apart from the ganja, two mobile phones and a two-wheeler were also seized from the accused. All the seized material, along with the arrested persons, was handed over to the Kukatpally excise station for further investigation.
