Traffic in Aluva to be restricted for Sri Krishna Jayanthi celebrations

Traffic in Aluva town will be regulated from 3:30 p.m. on Friday (September 4, 2026) in view of Sri Krishna Jayanthi celebrations.

During the procession, vehicles will not be permitted from Pump Junction towards Bank Junction. Similarly, traffic from the Government Hospital side will not be allowed towards the railway station and Pump Junction.

Vehicles arriving via the Perumbavoor private bus route must proceed straight through Powerhouse Junction and continue along Government Hospital Road. Those heading from Pulinchodu Junction towards Karothukuzhi must take the flyover from Pulinchodu Junction and continue via Bypass Junction.

Traffic from Karothukuzhi and market area will not be permitted towards the Government Hospital side. Vehicles from Bank Junction will also be restricted from entering the private bus stand and market area.

The authorities have ordered that vehicles bringing participants for the procession must drop them off and then park at Manappuram.
