Tirupati police solve senior citizen murder case within 24 hours

The Tirupati rural police cracked the murder case of senior citizen N. Papamma (78), a resident of Ambedkar colony in Avilala village on the city outskirts early on Sunday (April 19, 2026), within 24 hours.

Superintendent of Police L. Subbarayudu formed special teams led by Additional Superintendent (Crime) A. Srinivasulu. Accompanied by members of CLUES team, dog squad, and finger print and technical teams, the police found G. Srinivasulu and G. Sobha, living in the vicinity of the victim’s house, as the culprits.
