Three youths were reportedly killed in a motorcycle crash at Aravavandla Palli village of Nallamada mandal in Sri Sathya Sai district on Sunday night.

According to police, the three were travelling on a motorcycle when the vehicle, reportedly moving at high speed, rammed into a roadside tree. The impact caused the motorcycle to catch fire, leaving it completely gutted.

The deceased were identified as Anil from Puttaparthi, Arjun from Kothacheruvu and Deekshit from Gorantla, all in Sri Sathya Sai district.

The police shifted the bodies to the government hospital in Puttaparthi for postmortem examination and registered a case. Further investigation is under way.
