Thirty-two IPS officers transferred in Telangana

The Telangana government has issued orders on Friday (November 21, 2025) transferring and posting thirty-two IPS officers across senior headquarters roles, city jurisdictions and district units.

As per the order, Devendra Singh Chauhan has been moved from Multizone-II to the post of Additional Director General of Police (Personnel) at the State police headquarters, while also retaining full additional charge of Multizone-II. J Parimala Hana Nutan Jacob, previously Joint Commissioner of Police (Administration) in Hyderabad City and in-charge of TGCCC, has been posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, CID.

Chetana Mylabathula has been transferred from the Women Safety Wing to the RBVRR Telangana Police Academy as Deputy Director. K. Narayana Reddy, who was Superintendent of Police, Vikarabad, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Maheshwaram Zone in Rachakonda, against an existing vacancy. P. V. Padmaja, earlier Deputy Commissioner of Police, Malkajgiri, has been posted as Superintendent of Police (Administration) with the Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau.

Patil Sangramsingh Ganapatrao has been shifted from CID to Nagarkurnool district as Superintendent of Police, replacing Gaikwad Vaibhav Raghunath. Khare Kiran Prabhakar has been moved from Jayashankar Bhupalapally to Hyderabad City as Deputy Commissioner of Police, South Zone, replacing Sneha Mehra, who in turn has been posted as Superintendent of Police, Vikarabad.

Chennuri Rupesh has been transferred from the Anti-Narcotics Bureau to Hyderabad City as Deputy Commissioner of Police, SM and IT. Shabarish P has been moved from Mulugu to Mahabubabad as Superintendent of Police, replacing Kekan Sudhari Ramnath, who will now take charge of Mulugu district.

Nitika Pant has been transferred from the 2nd Battalion, Telangana Special Police, to Komaram Bheem Asifabad as Superintendent of Police. R Giridhar, previously Wanaparthy SP, has been posted as Superintendent of Police, Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau, replacing Chennuri Rupesh.

Vaibhav Raghunath has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Task Force, Hyderabad City. Sirisetti Sankeerth, earlier ADC to the Governor, will now serve as Superintendent of Police, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, replacing Khare Kiran Prabhakar. Patil Kantilal Subhash has been posted as ADC to the Governor.

B Ram Reddy has been shifted from CID to Ramagundam Commissionerate as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Peddapally, replacing Karunakar. Ch Sridhar has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Malkajgiri, replacing P.V. Padmaja.

Among sub-divisional postings, Avinash Kumar has been moved from Bhainsa to Bhadrachalam as Additional Superintendent of Police (Operations), while Kajal has been posted as Additional SP, Utnoor. Kankanala Rahul Reddy has been moved to Bhongir as Additional SP, and Sheshadrini Reddy Suruconti will now serve as Additional SP (Administration), Jagital.

Shivam Upadhyaya has been posted as Additional SP (Operations) at Mulugu headquarters. Rajesh Meena has been assigned as SDPO, Bhainsa, replacing Avinash Kumar. P Mounika has been posted as Additional SP (Administration), Adilabad.

Manan Bhat has been moved from Greyhounds to Eturunagaram as ASP/SDPO, replacing Shivam Upadhyaya. Pathipaka Saikiran has been posted to Nirmal as ASP, replacing Rajesh Meena. Ruthiwk Sai Kotte has been assigned as ASP, Vemulawada, replacing Sheshadrini Reddy Suruconti. Yadav Vasundhara Faurebi has been moved to Sathupally (Kalluru) in Khammam as ACP, replacing Raghu.

Among officers awaiting posting, S Sreenivas has been appointed Superintendent of Police, TG Transco; D Sunitha has been posted as Superintendent of Police, Wanaparthy; and K Gunasekhar has been appointed Deputy Commissioner of Police, Crimes, Rachakonda, replacing V Aravind Babu.

The government has directed the Director General of Police to implement the orders immediately.
