Telangana government to set up dashboard to provide information on progress, targets, and implementation of various programmes

The State government has decided to establish a comprehensive dashboard to provide detailed information on the progress, targets, and implementation status of various government programmes.

A special cell will also be set up to monitor and facilitate timely achievement of the objectives of these schemes and programmes. Informing about the development, Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju stressed the need for coordination among different departments for effective implementation of the State government’s flagship development schemes and welfare programmes.

He was addressing a meeting of secretaries of departments here on Monday. He said Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy would soon hold a meeting to assess the performance of the departments pertaining to various flagship schemes, centrally sponsored schemes as well as the State’s financial situation. Secretaries should be prepared for the meeting with reports highlighting innovative initiatives and success stories.

He said that T-Fiber connectivity should be extended to all government offices, including Gram Panchayats across the State. Departments should work systematically in line with the goals outlined in the Government’s Vision Document–2047.

Officials to ensure timely submission of Utilisation Certificates, reports, and project proposals to the Central government so that the release of Central funds is not delayed.

He acknowledged that adequate water availability for paddy cultivation might not be ensured in view of the El Nino and added that officials concerned should create awareness among farmers about suitable alternative crops.
